These concierge services provided to members of our practice are typically not covered by Medicare or other insurance plans.

Direct availability to your physician or our assistant during business hours.

All phone calls will be returned promptly, but if you deem your problem “urgent,” we will make every effort to speak to you at the time of your call. You, the patient, define what “urgent” means. If you think it is urgent, we think it is urgent.

Little or no office waiting time, and longer appointments.

Appointments will be scheduled for 30-90 minutes depending on the nature of the visit. There will be adequate time at each appointment to thoroughly address all of your questions and concerns.

Care for visiting relatives and/or friends.

Should your out-of-town family or friends become ill during a visit to the Mountain View area, we will be happy to assist with their medical care and will treat them as if they were valued members of our practice.

You will receive our personal cell phone number.

This will allow for easy communication for urgent medical problems that occur outside of my regular office hours. Ideally, we want to hear from you when you are ill or injured before you consider a visit to a hospital or urgent care center. However, for true emergencies call 911 first.

Strong focus on preventive medicine and long-term health and wellness.

Our philosophy is to educate you about your personal medical needs and risks. We will work with you to assess your level of fitness and determine an appropriate personal wellness plan. In addition to disease management and prevention, we also will focus on age management. Our goal is to assist you in living a long, healthy, vibrant life.

Long distance care.

Whether you are on a brief vacation or living some of the year in a second residence, we are available for consultation. However, if in our judgment you need to be seen by a local physician, we will encourage you to seek medical attention. We will communicate with you directly as well as with your treating physician, to coordinate your care on health issues that may arise.

Same-day or next business day appointments to fit your schedule.

Most office visits will be available on short notice, at your request. Office visits are best scheduled during normal office hours when the full complement of staff is available. However, should you require occasional visits outside of usual office hours, we will certainly do our best to reasonably accommodate you.

Personalized hospital care.

Should you need to be hospitalized at El Camino Hospital, we will maintain responsibility for your care, coordinate your care among subspecialists when needed and always advocate on your behalf.

Chronic care portfolio.

To assist you in the management of a chronic illness, a portfolio containing all of your personal pertinent medical information will be provided. This will enhance the communication and coordination among your medical providers.
